Kirinite is a cast thermoset acrylic resin and is extremely good for pen turning. These eye-catching acrylic pen blanks incorporate a blend of acrylic resin and paper to make a veined whirl effect. Kirinite is a very hard-wearing material and will produce durable and attractive acrylic pens. Kirinite is safe for drilling and turning on a wood lathe provided the tools are sharp.
