Revo 12|16 Lathe

Innovation has been key to the progress of the Laguna brand and it is fully embraced here in the REVO 12/16 Midi Lathe. To overcome the issues of a traditional DC motor (Low torque at low speed and inability to achieve very low speeds) the controller uses the revolutionary Pulse Width Modulation system which feeds a succession of voltage pulses to the motor, monitoring the speed and automatically making adjustments to keep the speed constant. The result is a fantastic level of torque even at the incredibly low speed of 50rpm.

The controls are mounted in an anodized aluminium plate, the ergonomic design is well positioned with a clear digital speed read out and easy access to all controls. The variable speed is smoothly controlled with a tactile rubber augmented knurled aluminium dial - A joy to use. 

Supplied with 2MT four prong drive centre, 2MT revolving tail centre, 75mm (3") diameter faceplate, 1.8m power cable with UK 3 pin plug.

Optional Accessories

Expansion Set: mounting the extension bed onto the right hand side of the main bed increase the maximum spindle length from 390mm (15.5") to 640mm (25"). The extension bed can also be mounted on the left hand side of the main bed to allow outboard bowl turning, with a capacity of 405mm (16"). The thread adaptor included with the expansion set is M33 x 3.5mm RH. A tool rest extension is also included.

Premium Floorstand: Never has a midi-lathe been supported this well. Height adjustable from 975mm to 1125mm (39” to 45”) at spindle centre and featuring ergonomic multi-tool shelving.

Deluxe Wheel System: Designed for maximum stability and ease of use, with a single pedal to engage.

Industrial Flood Light: Dust proof ribbed aluminium case, swivels 320 degrees and provides bright glare free illumination on the work piece. Also requires light bracket mounting plate 12/16LB.
